Years 9 & 10 Geography Excursion 23 August
We had a great day visiting a farm outside of Bungendore and learning about permaculture, food miles and sustainability with our host, Penny. It was a full day with a stop at Pialligo Estate for afternoon tea and a walk, with their gardener, through the olive grove and past their vineyards. We got to see how sustainable practices could be used in a different type of business.
There was a quick detour past the German Harmonie Club in Narrabundah as we have been studying the Berlin Wall in History. There’s nothing like touching part of the real thing! Thanks to the parents who assisted and really made this day possible.
